This question was the focus of an exclusive information evening for property managers from Pforzheim and Karlsruhe, hosted by Sensaru GmbH together with Gabler-Saliter Bankgeschäft AG.

Two challenges, two solutions: Smart technology meets smart financing

Matthias Zeh, CEO and co-founder of Sensaru, gave an impressive demonstration of how existing heating systems can be digitalized using non-invasive sensor technology and AI-based analysis - without any intervention in the technology. The effect: significantly lower CO₂ emissions, lower operating costs and a measurably higher property value. This form of intelligent heating monitoring is becoming increasingly relevant - and economically attractive - for property managers, particularly considering legal requirements such as §60b GEG.

In the second part of the evening, Fritz R. Gabler, Chief Representative of Gabler-Saliter Bankgeschäft AG, presented the WEG financing model. This offers condominium owners' associations a realistic and fair way to jointly finance energy-related renovations - even if there are no reserves or special levies are not feasible.

Conclusion: property managers as shapers of the energy transition

The lively discussion following the expert presentations showed that there is a great need for practical solutions - and interest is equally high. Over dinner, the participants continued to think, network and plan. A repeat of the format has already been announced for the fall in the region.
